I’m writing this posting just to notify of the April 2010 technical meeting updates as well as the April 2010 LINK on the websites.  This part of the post is ordinary, let’s get to the less-ordinary part.

The October version of “The Link” newsletter is now available on the Link page.

Chapter Scholarship Information Posted

As the title says, I got around to posting the chapter scholarship information on the new website. It can be found under the “Events” menu button, or by clicking here. We hope to see many applications this year. Best of luck to you all!

September Technical Meeting Results

Last night was the September technical meeting.  Our tour took place at General Sheet Metal here in South Bend.

The tour was very interesting and I would like to personally thank the guys (Joe and Seth) from General who led the tour and answered our many questions.  It is no wonder why they are a leader in their field.  We had dinner at Tippecanoe place and it was fantastic as usual.

I would also like to thank the newcomers who attended.  We had a good turnout with over 12 people.  Lets try to get even more next time.

Website Update – 25AUG09

Just a quick note…The contact form is functional, except there is a bug I’m working on for the comments field.  You can put comments in the name or email field for now.  I’m working to get it resolved.  I have received a couple messages that were missing the comments, which tipped me onto the bug.

Update (23SEP09) – The bug is resolved and the contact form should be fully functional again.

First Post

This is mostly a test post just to allow some website testing.

This will be our official ND-ASM.org blog.  You shouldn’t ever have to actually visit this site (although you can if you want to), I’ll be pulling all of these posts directly into the RSS widget on the left side of the ND-ASM website.  It’s the top accordian file.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.  Webmaster@ND-ASM.org
